Arun Kakar

Arun Kakar is an experienced journalist and editor currently serving as the Art Market Editor at Artsy since December 2022. Previously, Arun held the position of Innovation Strategist at The Upside®, where tenure lasted from February to November 2022. Other notable roles include Web Editor and Journalist at Spear's Magazine, where contributions included significant features on wealth and luxury, and reporting on the Labour Party conference for New Statesman. Arun has also worked with outlets such as Elite Traveler, Press Gazette, and Screen International, and participated in a postgraduate program in Multimedia Journalism at Press Association. Arun holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of York and completed GCSEs at Thamesmead School.
