Laurel Lange Richardson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the art industry. Starting in 2007, they worked as an Assistant to Hilary Walsh at Marek and Associates, where they organized a digital photo archive and assisted on photoshoots. In 2010, they were a Research Assistant at AvroKO, conducting historical research and assisting with client correspondence. From 2009 to 2010, Laurel worked as an Assistant to Vince Aletti, cataloguing fashion and fine art photos and assisting with research projects. Laurel Lange then moved on to Diller Scofidio + Renfro as an Executive Assistant, managing high-level meetings and scheduling for studio projects. In 2014, they became a Studio Manager for Jules de Balincourt, managing correspondence and assisting with international exhibitions. Laurel's next role was as an Executive Assistant to the Director at MoMA PS1, where they coordinated operations, artist research, and high-level events. In 2015, they worked as an Artist Liaison & Sales Associate at David Kordansky Gallery, supporting artists and managing exhibitions and sales. From 2016 to 2016, they were an Assistant to Mary Weatherford at Mary Weatherford Studio, handling administrative tasks and coordinating exhibitions. Laurel then joined Artsy, starting as a Gallery Relations Liaison and then progressing to roles such as Gallery Relations Manager, Senior Gallery Relations Manager, and Lead, Large Accounts, NALA. In these positions, they managed gallery relationships, developed marketing campaigns, and spearheaded initiatives to engage collectors and partners. Since 2020, Laurel has been serving as a Lead Account Executive at Artsy, overseeing top North American and Latin American gallery clients and contributing to the expansion of the art market.

Laurel Lange Richardson completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Architecture and Art History from Sarah Lawrence College between 2006 and 2010. Prior to that, they attended Immaculate Heart High School from 2002 to 2006 to complete their high school education.
