Mathilde Dongala

Mathilde Dongala is a seasoned user researcher with a strong background in UX and digital experience design. Currently serving as the Lead User Researcher at Artsy since February 2021, Mathilde plays a pivotal role in integrating the data team and spearheading strategic projects to enhance key business offerings. Previously, as the Senior User Researcher at Artsy, Mathilde established the user research practice from the ground up, providing essential mentorship and creating a UXR playbook. Prior experience includes roles as a UX Researcher at eyeo, where user behavior studies were conducted, and at Mimi Hearing Technologies GmbH, focusing on usability improvements. Mathilde’s earlier career included project management at StringCan Interactive and an internship in qualitative research at CSA. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Digital Experience Design from Hyper Island and a Franco-British Double Degree MSc in Strategy and Communications from Sciences Po Lille and the University of Kent.
