Iddo Geltner has a strong background in the field of medical devices and technology. Iddo is the co-founder and CEO of Arugga AI Farming since May 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Dune Medical Devices for a significant period of time. At Dune Medical Devices, they served as the VP of R&D from June 2013 to February 2017, where they managed all research and development activities related to a multidisciplinary product. Iddo had extensive involvement in engineering, clinical, and regulatory aspects and successfully commercialized the product in over 100 medical centers in the US and Israel. Before their role as VP of R&D, they worked as the Core Technology Group Leader from September 2003 to May 2013. In this role, they led a multidisciplinary team in the development of real-time tissue characterization technology using RF spectroscopy, which was applied to an FDA-approved medical device. Prior to their work at Dune Medical Devices, they were a researcher at Sela - Semiconductor Engineering Laboratories from 1997 to 1999.

Iddo Geltner obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 1995 and 1998. Later on, they pursued further education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University from 1999 to 2003.
