Angela Crowther is a Director at Arup, overseeing the multidisciplinary design team for the British Library Extension in Camden, with a focus on cultural and scientific facilities and project viability through technical redefinition of Crossrail 2 infrastructure. In addition to this role, Angela serves as an Industry Tutor at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, and participates as a Design Review Panel Member for the London Boroughs of Camden and Waltham Forest. Angela is also a Quality Review Panel Member for Harlow & Gilston Garden Town. Prior experience includes roles as a Chartered Engineer at Expedition Engineering Ltd, working on significant projects such as the World Wildlife Foundation Living Planet Centre and the 2012 Olympic Velodrome, as well as architectural roles with Shigeru Ban Architects and Fondation Architectes de l'Urgence. Angela holds a MEng in Civil and Architectural Engineering from the University of Bath and has further education from Boston University and Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
