Claire McConnell

Claire McConnell currently serves as the Seattle Office Lead and Principal at Arup since November 2022. Previously, Claire held senior leadership roles at McMillen Jacobs Associates as a Senior Associate and Lead Associate from January 2018 to October 2022, and at Arup as an Associate Director within the Buildings Engineering group from April 2013 to December 2017, where notable projects included the HS2 Euston Station. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at Allies and Morrison, contributing to significant projects such as the Custom House Crossrail Station and the King's Cross Underground Station Redevelopment. Additional roles include Associate Director at tp bennett and Associate Director at Consarc Consulting Architects, where project leadership focused on major refurbishment and development projects. Claire's educational background includes degrees in architecture from the Bartlett School, University of California, Berkeley, Wesleyan University, and Wellesley College.
