Jack Hogan, PE, is an experienced engineer specializing in climate risk and resilience, currently serving as an Associate Climate Risk and Resilience Engineer at Arup since June 2017. Prior to this role, Jack worked at Stanford University in the Civil Engineering Water Services and Civil Infrastructure Group, where contributions were made to various campus infrastructure projects. As a Fulbright Research Fellow at Deltares, Jack conducted research on coastal flood defense infrastructure design. Former experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers involved leading water control operations and flood risk analysis, along with conducting GIS-based hydrologic analysis. Earlier in their career, Jack served in the Marin County Fire Department as a firefighter. Jack holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from UCLA.
