Josef Hargrave is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation management and urban planning. Currently serving as Director at Arup since March 2011, Josef has also held the positions of Associate Director and Associate within the same company. Additionally, since December 2021, Josef has contributed as an Associate Lecturer in MA Innovation Management at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London, one of the pioneering programs integrating innovation management in an arts context. Josef is a member of the International Panel of Experts for the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore since April 2022, providing insights on urban planning challenges, and serves on the Science of Cities Knowledge Council for the Centre for Liveable Cities. Prior roles include board membership at the Museum of Architecture and positions related to foresight consultancy and analysis. Josef's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Innovation Management from Alliance Manchester Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from The University of Sheffield.
