Samuel Hazell

Samuel Hazell is a Chartered Geologist and Geotechnical Engineer at Arup, where they have held the position since 2023 after previously serving as a Geologist from 2015 to 2023. They have diverse experience in geotechnical engineering, oil and gas, and mineral exploration. Samuel was also a Geotechnical Data Manager at Shell and a Field Technician at Mindax Ltd, where they focused on uranium-bearing sediments. Samuel actively contributes to the profession as the current Chair of the Midlands Geotechnical Society. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Birmingham.
