Simon White is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in structural engineering, particularly within bridge design. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Arup since December 2014, Simon has progressed through various roles in the company, starting as a Graduate Structural Engineer. Prior to Arup, Simon completed a PhD focused on composite materials at the University of Bristol, where innovative numerical tools for analyzing stability in composite shells were developed. Additional experience includes engineering roles at Delstar Engineering and TAIT, with a background in entertainment lighting and rigging. Simon holds an MSc in Structural Engineering from Cardiff University and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
