David Ng

David Ng, MD, FCAP, is an accomplished hematopathologist with extensive experience in academia and clinical laboratories. Since May 2019, David has served as an Associate Professor at the University of Utah and as the Senior Medical Director for Applied Artificial Intelligence and Bioinformatics at ARUP Laboratories, leading interdisciplinary teams to implement machine learning advancements in clinical settings. Previously, David held several medical director roles focused on hematologic flow cytometry and hematopathology, including directing laboratory operations and assay development for leukemia and lymphoma. David's earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Director of Flow Cytometry at PhenoPath and completing a hematopathology fellowship at the University of Washington. David earned an MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
