Scott Pickering

Scott Pickering is an IT Software Configuration Manager at ARUP Laboratories since February 2015, with extensive experience in software configuration management and application life-cycle management. Prior to this role, Scott served as a Technical Expert in IT Development Tools at SUPERVALU, where notable achievements included enhancing the Team Foundation Server build process and increasing testing efficiency for SCM tools. Scott also held the position of Senior Team Lead, overseeing a team of engineers, administering over 60 software configurations, and migrating processes from a z/OS mainframe to Micro Focus mainframe emulation servers. Early career experience includes working as a Senior Systems Engineer at Supervalu/Albertsons, where Scott was a Subject Matter Expert for various SCM/ALM tools and provided training to developers and offshore teams. Education was completed at Salt Lake Community College.
