Todd Mittleman

Todd Mittleman is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the development and innovation of diagnostic technologies. Currently serving as Director of New Technology & Product Innovation at ARUP Laboratories since September 2021, Mittleman drives advancements in diagnostic technology and test development at the largest non-profit reference lab in the U.S. Prior to this role, Mittleman was Director of Molecular/NGS Product Development at NextGen Laboratories, where responsibilities included overseeing product planning, R&D, and launch of rapid diagnostic test products. Mittleman also held the position of Director of New Business Development at The Mind Research Network, focusing on expanding business opportunities in biotech and with DoD research labs. Earlier experience includes serving as Alternative Fuels & Environmental Technology Product Lead at American Honda Motor Company, where Mittleman coordinated the launch of the FCX Clarity, the world's first hydrogen fuel cell vehicle available for lease. Mittleman holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Washington and has foundational education from Rutgers University.
