Kathy Blegen-Huntley is an experienced leader in the arts and non-profit sectors, currently serving in Corporate Relations at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities since October 2021. As the Owner and President of Upward Spiral Consulting since February 2008, Kathy provides consultancy services to various non-profits. Previous roles include Director of Development at the Dairy Arts Center, Leader of the Capital Campaign at Lakeshore Players Theater, and Interim Executive Director at White Bear Center for the Arts. Kathy has also contributed as a board member for Theatre Unbound and held positions at Solid Ground, Summit Academy OIC, and United Way. A St. Catherine University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies, Kathy further enhanced community skills as a Racial Justice Facilitator through YWCA.
Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities
The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities offers its patrons the opportunity to develop an improved understanding of themselves and their environment through a direct experience with the arts. The Arvada Center offers theatrical performances, galleries and arts education opportunities for its patrons through a direct connection to the Arts. We produce at least seven theatrical performances a year, several concerts in our outdoor ampitheater and offer hundreds of art education classes for children and adults. We also have three galleries within the premises that exhibit local artists as well as traveling exhibitions, collaborations and permanent installations.
