Todd Gilgren

Battalion Chief at Arvada Fire

Todd Gilgren's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Todd started working as a Battalion Chief at Arvada Fire Protection District in June 1993 and held this position until October 2019. From October 2019 to June 2020, they served as the Acting Deputy Chief of Operations at the same organization. In June 2020, they returned to the role of Battalion Chief. In 2002, Todd joined Colorado Task Force One (CO-TF1) as a Task Force Leader (TFL). In 2006, they founded and served as the President of International Technical Search And Rescue (ITSARO). Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Red Rocks Community College from June 2006 to June 2016. Prior to their firefighting career, Todd was an Investigator and Trial Assistant at the Denver District Attorney's Office from June 1996 to June 1999.

Todd Gilgren earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Public Safety / Criminalistics from Metropolitan State University of Denver, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Todd also completed an Associate of Science degree in Fire Science from Red Rocks Community College, although the specific dates of their enrollment are not provided.

In addition to their formal education, Todd Gilgren obtained certifications in Chief Fire Officer Designation (CFO) from the Center for Public Safety Excellence in December 2020. Todd also received a certification in Impromptu Speaking from LinkedIn in April 2020.
