Arveen Horsefield

Arveen Horsefield has over 15 years of work experience. They recently joined Arvida Group Limited in October 2021 as the Head of Sustainability & Compliance. Previously, they worked at Countdown Supermarkets as a Sustainability Manager from July 2020 to August 2021. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Deloitte New Zealand, where they held various positions such as Associate Director - Assurance & Advisory - Sustainability, Manager - Assurance & Advisory, and Assistant Manager - Indirect Taxes. They also had a brief role as an Assistant at the Rural Payments Agency in 2006.

Arveen Horsefield completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management at The University of Auckland from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, Arveen studied Law with Japanese and obtained an LLB degree from Keele University. In 2004, Arveen also spent a year at Bowling Green State University, pursuing the same degree. Additionally, Arveen has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Managing Critical Risks: Bow Tie Fundamentals from IMPAC in 2020, IR Certified from the International Integrated Reporting Council in 2018, GRI Certified from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in 2017, and Associate Chartered Accountant from ICAEW in 2010.
