Sergio Morales has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of network engineering. Sergio started their career as a Help Desk Engineer at Technopia .NET in 2006. Sergio then worked as a Service Provisioning Engineer at IFX Networks from 2007 to 2008, where they were responsible for planning network layouts and configuring Cisco devices. From 2009 to 2013, Sergio held various roles, including Senior Network Engineer at Atento Colombia and Senior Network Engineer/Team Leader at KELTCO Ltd., where they trained military engineers and redesigned the army's network for improved performance and security. Sergio was also a Solution Engineer/Technical Pre-Sale Engineer at Allied Telesis Inc. from 2013 to 2015, assisting in implementing high-reliability and secure networks in remote areas. Sergio served as an External IT Consultant/Network Engineer for the National Army of Colombia from 2015 to 2017, where they successfully replaced core switches to enhance network speed and security. Sergio then worked as a Helpdesk Analyst at NTEC – National Technology Institute in 2018, providing technical troubleshooting and IT support. Sergio's most recent role was as an Intermediate Network Engineer at Datacom from 2019 to 2022, where they managed network infrastructure for major businesses in New Zealand and resolved incidents while managing requests and implementing changes to the infrastructure. Currently, Sergio works as a Network Engineer at Arvida Group Limited, starting in 2022.

Sergio Morales has a Bachelor of Telecommunications Engineering from Santo Tomas University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2005. In 2012, they also received certifications as a Certified Allied Telesis Technician from Allied Telesis. Sergio pursued further education at Francisco Jose de Caldas University from 2012 to 2013, obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering Project Management. In 2017, Sergio enrolled in the National Technology Institute and completed a Diploma in Computing with a specialization in Networking, which they finished in 2018. Sergio Morales has also obtained various certifications from Cisco, including Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) in October 2017, Cisco Certified Network Associate Cyber Ops (CCNA Cyber Ops) in September 2018, and several others in 2020, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing and Switching), Cisco Certified Networking Professional - Enterprise, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation, and Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core. Additionally, in 2014, they received a Certified Allied Telesis Professional certification from Allied Telesis.
