Ruwayda Dham

Ruwayda Dham has had a long and successful career in the pharmaceutical industry. Ruwayda started their career in 1988 at Gulf Pharmaceutical Industry (JULPHAR), where they held various roles over a span of 21 years. These roles included Drug Information Director, Sales and Marketing Director, and Regulatory Affairs and Medical Writing tasks. While at JULPHAR, they pioneered the establishment of the Medical or Drug Information Department and worked to promote ethical marketing strategies. In 1996, they were promoted to Sales and Marketing Director for North Arabia, overseeing Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq. In 2009, they joined Arwan Pharmaceutical Industries as the Managing Director.

Ruwayda Dham pursued their education from 1982 to 1997 at the American University of Beirut. During this time, they obtained their Ph.D. in Basic Medical Sciences, with a focus on pharmacology and therapeutics.
