Rudesh Toofanny

Director of Computational Metabolic Pathway Design at Arzeda

Rudesh Toofanny has been working in the field since 2002, when they first became a Grad student at the University of Nottingham. In 2006, they moved to the University of Washington, where they served as a Research Scientist and a Post Doctoral Research Fellow. During their time at the University of Washington, Rudesh was involved in data mining a multi-terabyte database of protein simulations, developing data analysis tools in T-SQL, Mathematica and C#, and optimizing large scale databases/ datawarehouses for scientific data. In 2013, Rudesh moved to Arzeda, where they have since served as both a Director of Computational Metabolic Pathway Design and a Research Scientist.

Rudesh Toofanny received their PhD in Computational Biophysics from the University of Nottingham in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine from the University of Essex in 2001.
