João Silva

João Silva has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. João is currently working as a Senior Manager of Business Development at AMW GmbH, a position they started in February 2023. Prior to that, João worked at Smart4Diagnostics GmbH, where they held two roles: Senior Operations & Partnerships Manager from September 2022 to January 2023, and Operations Manager from September 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Smart4Diagnostics, João was a Co-Founder of Lifetag Diagnostics, a biotechnology company specializing in non-invasive technologies for early-stage chronic and auto-immune diseases. João played a crucial role in various aspects of the company, including R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Intellectual Property, Financing & Fundraising, Business Development, and General and Project Management. João worked at Lifetag Diagnostics from January 2016 to September 2021.

In addition to their industry experience, João also worked at EIT Health as a Service Excellence Fellow from March 2020 to January 2021. During this time, they were part of a Taskforce focused on implementing a Design Thinking Strategy to create new services in European Health Innovation. João was involved in collaborating with stakeholders across the European Union and developing a new service called UpToYou, which aimed to involve patients in the health innovation process through education and strategic consultancy.
