Jan Linder

Managing Director AS Ascenseurs West Switzerland at AS Aufzüge AG

Jan Linder has a diverse work experience. Jan started their career in 1998 as an Engineer at Swisscom Schweiz AG, where they were involved in new product development, system integration, and network design. Jan later became a Development Engineer and then an Experience Developer, responsible for creating and deploying innovative products in multimedia data communication. In 2011, they became the Head of Customer Journey, leading a team in optimizing customer experience.

In 2013, Jan joined Swisscom as a Venture Associate, where they scouted startups and worked with the investment team for deal flow. Jan also supported the investment processes and business development of the Seed-Fund Portfolio companies.

In 2014, they joined AS Aufzüge AG as the Area Service Leader, responsible for the profit and loss results and organization of resources in the French part of Switzerland. Jan later became the Managing Director of AS Ascenseurs West Switzerland, leading the company in providing maintenance, repair, modernization, and building special lifts to loyal customers.

Jan has also been involved in entrepreneurship, creating Meal-In SA in 1999, which later became Perfectly Swiss. Jan served as the CEO of the company until 2004 and has been a member of the administrative board since 2005.

Jan Linder's education history begins in 1993 when they attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) for a Master's degree in Telecommunication, completing it in 1998. In 2003, Jan attended Goethe Institut, earning a ZMP degree in German, which they completed by 2005. In 2009, they enrolled at the University of Cambridge and obtained a First Certificate in English, also completing their CAE degree in English at Cambridge during the same period. In 2011, Jan attended IMD for an Executive MBA (EMBA) in Business Administration and Management, completing it in 2012.
