Steven Hicks, MD, PhD, is a prominent medical professional with extensive experience in academia and healthcare. Currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at As You Are since November 2022, Steven Hicks has also held a dual role at Penn State Health since August 2015 as an Associate Professor and the Director of the Pediatric Clinical Research Office. Previously, Steven Hicks was a Research Associate at New York Medical College from July 2005 to June 2006 under the mentorship of John Edwards, PhD. Educationally, Steven Hicks earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Marist College, followed by an MD/PhD in Neuroscience at SUNY Upstate Medical University, and completed a Pediatrics Residency at the same institution.
