Andrew Behar

Andrew Behar serves as the Chief Executive Officer of As You Sow since 2010, where a vision for a safe, just, and sustainable world drives corporate decision-making focused on environmental health and human rights. Behar actively contributes to various organizations as an Advisory Board Member for Sustainable Media Center and Real Impact Tracker, and holds a position on the Advisory Board of 1-Earth Institute, promoting the integration of indigenous knowledge with sustainability innovation. Previously, Behar was a Past Board Member of US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment, enhancing investment practices that prioritize environmental, social, and corporate governance criteria. Behar holds Bachelor's degrees in Communications and Media from New York University and in Communication and Media Studies from Duke University.
