Kenichi Shohtoku

Founder of SCS Global, Kenichi Shohtoku serves as the Group Managing Partner. Ken graduated from Keio University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. After passing his CPA (Japan) exam in 1996, Ken joined Arthur Andersen in Tokyo. Following four successful years in Japan he was seconded to Kuala Lumpur where he assumed the Manager position of Japanese desk.

After founding SCS Global in 2002, he has supported numerous companies to expand their businesses in South East Asia and Japan and has over 15 years of ample work experience in assurance, consulting and corporate finance. In addition, Ken holds multiple board positions and is a regular speaker at public events. He is also qualified as CPA in State of Washington, US and Chartered Accountant in Singapore.
