Andrew Amedu

Andrew Amedu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and credit management within the microfinance sector. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Operations at ASA International since March 2019, Andrew has played a pivotal role in shaping organizational strategies and enhancing operational effectiveness. Prior to this, Andrew held the position of Head of Credit Operation at Imo Self Help Organization from June 2002 to January 2024, where responsibilities included designing and managing credit processes and compliance monitoring. Previous roles include Senior Business Development Manager at Jessefield Microfinance Bank, Micro Finance Specialist at Seedvest Limited, and General Manager Operations at ASA International. Andrew possesses academic credentials including an MBA from the University of Calabar and multiple certificates in microfinance and business management from renowned institutions.
