Julian Sidebottom

Julian Sidebottom currently serves as a Non Executive Director at VicReturn, a not-for-profit entity focused on promoting beverage container recycling in Victoria. Since October 2020, Julian has held the position of Group Head, Corporate Affairs & Government Relations at Asahi Beverages, having previously served in similar roles at Carlton & United Breweries from June 2017 to October 2020. Julian's career in government relations includes serving as Chief of Staff and Adviser to the Shadow Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations from 2013 to 2017, as well as advisory roles for various ministers in the Australian government. Academically, Julian holds an Executive Education certificate in Reputation Management from Stanford University and dual degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Tasmania.
