Ioana Ionescu

Ioana Ionescu has extensive experience in finance and business transformation, with a career spanning over two decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Finance Business Partner at Asahi Europe & International since April 2017, Ioana has successfully driven IS optimization initiatives and led major finance and HR projects. Prior to this role, Ioana held significant positions at SABMiller, including Global Service Line Owner for Record to Report, where processes for advanced finance were developed. As Business Transformation Lead for Ursus Breweries, Ioana facilitated the transition to global SAP, achieving significant savings and overcoming complex regulatory challenges. Educational credentials include an MBA from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and various certifications in accounting and internal auditing.
