Asahi Yukizai Corp, formerly ASAHI ORGANIC CHEMICALS INDUSTRY CO., LTD. is primarily engaged in manufacturing and selling piping materials and resins. It operates in two segments. The Piping System segment is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of valves, pipes, joints made from vinyl chloride, the design and construction of piping work using its piping materials, and the manufacturing and sale of water treatment devices and devices made for semiconductor-related machinery. The Resins segment is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of foundry resin, foundry resin coated sand (RCS), and resins for foam material, general industrial and electronic material uses. As of March 31, 2014, it had 12 subsidiaries and one associated company.
