The idea for Asai began in our founder Prerna’s kitchen. As a mother of two, she found herself asking a question most of us rarely pause to ask: what exactly are we cooking our food on every day?
The search for an honest answer led her into deep research on coatings, fumes, microplastics, and hidden toxins and to a wider gap between what cookware claims and what it proves.

Asai was created to address that gap.

Alongside engineers, designers and product obsessives, Asai builds safe cookware designed for Indian cooking - high heat, acidic foods, daily use, real kitchens. Our approach is grounded in material science, rigorous testing, and restraint in what we claim.

Every batch of Asai cookware is independently lab-tested, and each pan comes with a scannable Health Report. Not as a feature but as a baseline for trust.
