Archis A. Yawalkar

Archis A. Yawalkar is the current CEO and Managing Director at aSai Vishwa. Archis has also previously worked as the Vice President of Business Development at Filtra Catalysts and Chemicals Ltd from December 2007 to July 2013. In this role, they were responsible for the planning and production of organic chemicals at the plant level and their global marketing. Archis was also responsible for the global business development of the company's heterogeneous catalysts. Their customer segments included oil and gas refineries, petrochemical plants, steel plants, fertilizer plants, pharmaceuticals, and disinfectant industry. Their current profile is a blend of technology development, market development, and commercial domains.

Before their time at Filtra Catalysts and Chemicals Ltd, Yawalkar worked as a postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft in The Netherlands from December 2002 to May 2005. During their time there they conducted extensive applied research on monoliths/micro-reactors and catalysis, which led to well-cited research publications in internationally acclaimed journals, as well as a chapter in the book "Integrated Chemical Processes" by Wiley.

Yawalkar began their career as a Research Fellow at UDCT in 1996 and held this position until 2002.

Archis A. Yawalkar has a Ph.D.(Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from the University Department of Chemical Technology(UDCT), University of Mumbai. Archis also has an M.Chem.Engg. from the same school, and a B.Tech. (Petrochemical Engg.) from Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University.
