Ioannis Karatasis

Ioannis Karatasis is an experienced data analyst and scientist currently serving as a Senior Expert Data Analyst/Scientist at asambeauty since February 2022, focusing on data analysis, predictive model generation, and data engineering with basic MLOps skills. In addition to this role, Ioannis co-founded and became a shareholder of Bonpedia in August 2022. Prior experience includes a decade at Universität Duisburg-Essen, where Ioannis was a PhD student lecturer teaching databases, information retrieval, mining, and internet search engines, as well as serving as a scientific assistant and software engineer. Ioannis held the position of CTO at DataRhine from September 2020 to January 2022, overseeing backend development and database administration. Ioannis holds a Master of Science degree in Ingenieurwissenschaften from the University of Duisburg-Essen.
