Scott K. Thompson

Dr. Thompson has close to 30 years of experience at Asana Biosciences, Endo Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline in multiple areas of drug discovery and development, including medicinal chemistry, project leadership and management, compound library management and screening strategies, and API and drug product development and manufacture. He has conducted research in a variety of therapeutic areas including oncology, urology, inflammation and pain, and has been the leader for multiple projects that have produced clinical development candidates. Prior to joining Asana BioSciences, he was Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Endo Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Thompson is a co-inventor on more than 50 issued patents and patent applications, and is a co-author on over 35 peer-reviewed.
