Didier MUTABAZI

Didier MUTABAZI has over 14 years of work experience in various roles. In 2021, they were appointed as Country Manager of Asante Financial Services Group. From 2019 to 2021, they served as Head of Digital Finance and Innovation at AB Bank Rwanda PLC. From 2018 to 2019, they were Head of Digital Finance at AB Bank Rwanda, where they developed a strategic approach and overall plan for future digital finance channels and products. From 2011 to 2018, they held various roles at Millicom (Tigo), including Data Products and Devices Manager, Category Manager Value Added Services, Commercial Projects Coordinator, and Commercial Operations and Quality Coordinator. Finally, from 2007 to 2011, they worked as Content Manager at SMS Media Rwanda.

Didier MUTABAZI obtained a Certified Expert in Microfinance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in October 2019. Didier then attended the Institut Africain d'Informatique from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Diplome d'Ingenieur des travaux (Bac+3) in IT business oriented. Currently, Didier is pursuing an MBA in Strategic Planning at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, which they began in 2021.
