Christopher Owusu Afriyie is an experienced geologist currently serving as Senior Project Geologist and formerly as Greenfield Project Geologist at Asante Gold since August 2021, focusing on advancing exploration projects and discovering high gold mineralized targets. Prior experience includes positions as Project Geologist at Cardinal Resources from November 2016 to July 2021, where responsibilities encompassed project supervision and resource estimation, and as a Consulting Geologist at Chris Consult, specializing in alluvial exploration and sustainable mining practices. Christopher's foundational experience includes roles as Exploration Geologist at Adansi Gold Limited, where responsibilities involved resource estimation and geological modeling, and earlier positions at Volta Resources and Golden Star Exploration, contributing to soil sampling and structural mapping. Christopher holds a Bachelor's Degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology and an Advanced Certificate in SQL Database Administration from NIIT Ghana Limited.
