Gemma Bornick

Gemma Bornick is an experienced Emergency Physician currently practicing at Hawaii Emergency Physicians Associated since July 2023 and Asante since August 2020. Prior roles include serving as a Clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor at both the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin - Madison, as well as an Emergency Physician and Director of Medical Education at BayCare Clinic. Gemma also held significant leadership positions at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, including Emergency Department Medical Director and Department Chair of Emergency Medicine. Training as a Resident Physician was completed at UNC Hospitals from June 2010 to June 2013. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Duke University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from UCLA, along with a Certificate in Psychedelic Research and Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
