Hala Kmeid

Hala Kmeid has worked in a number of legal and executive roles since 1997. Hala started their career at Naufal Law Firm as a Legal Consultant, where they drafted commercial agreements and conducted civil cases, commercial issues, and contracts. In 2011, they took on the role of Parliamentary Legal Advisor at the Lebanese Parliament, where they cooperated and coordinated with the Parliamentary Commission on the Rights of Women and Children in all matters pertaining to legislation and specific Law projects. In 2012, they worked as a Senior Associate at Kanaan Law Firm and as Legal Advisor to the CEO at Orascom Telecom Lebanon (Alfa). In 2016, they joined ASAP Systems as Global President, where they built a team of 15 Software Engineers and managed the Sales Team to deliver quarterly business targets. Hala also drove customer service support system to reduce complaints by 30%.

Hala Kmeid obtained a French Baccalaureate in Natural Sciences from Collège des Soeurs des Saints-Coeurs Kfarhbab between 1978 and 1993. Hala then went on to earn a Master's degree in Private Law from Université Saint-Joseph between 1993 and 1997. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Strategic Project Management from Professional Development - Harvard Division of Continuing Education.
