Ankita Bhatkhande

Ankita Bhatkhande currently serves as the Head of Communications for Gender and Climate Change at Asar since April 2022, previously holding the role of Associate Communications and Engagement Strategist. Ankita's experience includes being recognized as a Leader of Tomorrow at the St. Gallen Symposium in both 2022 and 2018, contributing significantly with workshops and essay contributions focused on education. Prior roles include Manager of Communications and Events at Oberoi International School, Senior Correspondent at Hindustan Times, and Education Correspondent at both DNA and Mumbai Mirror. Ankita's educational background encompasses ongoing PhD studies in Political Sociology at the University of Mumbai, a fellowship in Climate Change Learning, a certificate in Communicating Climate Change from the University of Glasgow, a Master's degree in Media and Cultural Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ramnarain Ruia College.
