Priyanka Thirumurthy

Priyanka Thirumurthy currently serves as the Head of Communications & Engagement at Asar, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Priyanka was the Head of Research in the Indian Film Industry from December 2022 to June 2023 and worked as a Regional Engagement Associate at Climate Trends from April 2022 to April 2023. From January 2017 to March 2022, Priyanka held the role of Tamil Nadu Bureau Chief at TheNewsMinute and was a Reporter at Times Network between April 2015 and January 2017. Priyanka completed a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune, in March 2015 and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women.
