Nigar Allahverdiyeva

Nigar Allahverdiyeva currently serves as the Head of International Trade Finance and Financial Institutions at “AZERBAIJAN INDUSTRY BANK” OJSC since February 2023. Nigar has extensive experience in trade finance, having held various leadership roles at ASB from 2008 to the present, including Head of Central Operations and Head of Foreign Trade & International Relations Division, focusing on export/import documentary operations and correspondent banking. Nigar also completed an internship at the Baku Appellation Court in the Judicial Board on affairs about economic disputes in 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in MBA CIS from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (2008-2010) and a Bachelor's degree in Political Administration with a focus on Legal Studies from The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2004-2008).
