Ben Speedy

Ben Speedy currently serves as an Independent Director for Waikato Thoroughbred Racing since January 2024. Previously, Ben held multiple senior roles at ASB Bank from June 2020, including GM Commercial Banking & Business Strategy, Acting EGM Business Banking, and GM Rural Banking. Prior to ASB Bank, Ben was Country Manager for CoreLogic NZ from February 2019 to June 2020, overseeing business performance and being part of the CoreLogic International Executive Team. Ben's extensive experience at BNZ from October 2008 to January 2019 included roles such as Chief Operating Officer for Customer Fulfilment Services and Head of Lending Fulfilment. Earlier career experiences included risk assessment roles at ABN AMRO and agribusiness lending positions at BNZ. Ben holds a Postgraduate Business Diploma in Marketing and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Farm Management and Rural Valuation from Massey University.
