Bridget Thompson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in compliance and regulatory matters within the banking sector. Currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Change at ASB Bank since August 2018, Bridget has held various senior roles including General Manager - Compliance (Acting) and Senior Legal Counsel, focusing on regulatory frameworks governing consumer lending, corporate finance, and secured lending. Prior to ASB, experience includes roles at Bell Gully and White & Case, specializing in banking and financial services. Educational background features a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago, as well as international law studies at the University of Amsterdam.
