Colin MacDonald

Colin MacDonald QSO has extensive leadership experience across various sectors, currently serving as Director at ASB Bank since March 2022 and as Principal at MacDonald Consulting since August 2018. Previously, Colin held significant positions such as Chairperson of the Network for Learning from March 2019 to June 2023, Director at Education Payroll – Rārangi Utu ā-Mātauranga until January 2023, and Chief Executive Officer at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) and Land Information New Zealand from 2012 to 2018 and 2008 to 2012, respectively. Additional roles include Deputy Commissioner at Inland Revenue NZ and Chief Operating Officer at ANZ. Colin's career began at KPMG as Associate Director. Colin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow, earned between 1976 and 1980.
