Owen Turner

Owen Turner currently serves as the Head of Financial Crime Technology, Strategy & Delivery at ASB Bank since October 2023. Prior to this role, Owen held various positions at Deloitte New Zealand from June 2013 to October 2023, advancing from Analyst to Associate Director. Between November 2007 and June 2013, Owen worked at the Serious Fraud Office, where responsibilities included serving as an Electronic Forensic Investigator and Liaison Officer in the Evaluation and Intelligence Unit. Owen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business/Management from The University of Auckland, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Auckland University of Technology, a Professional Legal Studies qualification from The College of Law Australia, and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
