Rafat Hasouba

Rafat Hasouba is a highly experienced professional in the engineering and architecture sectors, currently serving as the Founder of Asbila Consulting Engineers since January 2016. Previously, Rafat operated as an Independent Business Owner at Nawa Housing & Development from October 2014 to June 2018. From January 2002 to August 2014, Rafat held various managerial roles at the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, including Director of the Engineering Department, where oversight of over 100 engineers for project management and technical support was a key responsibility. Additional roles at the Royal Commission included Technical Support Manager and Studies & Design Manager, focusing on in-house design and engineering projects. Earlier experience includes working as a Designer at Innovators Consulting Engineers for international projects in Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, and Morocco. Rafat earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a focus on Landscape Architecture from King AbdulAziz University, graduating in 2000.
