Michael Woods has extensive experience in safety, security, and loss prevention across various industries. Currently serving as the Sr. Safety & Loss Control Manager at Asbury Automotive Group since August 2019, Michael previously held leadership roles such as Director of Assets Protection & Safety at Denny's and Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits. Notable positions also include Director of Safety at Sherwood Food Distributors and Steve and Barry's, where Michael was responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide safety policies and training programs. With a strong foundation in loss prevention management from roles at Super Kmart Center and extensive experience in conducting audits and investigations, Michael is well-equipped to enhance organizational safety and mitigate risks. Michael is a combat veteran with an honorable discharge from the US Army and holds a certification from Wicklander and Zulawski.
