Sid Barron

Sid Barron has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry, holding various management positions throughout their career. Sid started their career as the General Manager/Vice President at Hank Aaron Automotive Group and helped grow the company from one franchise to seven, achieving over $100 million in sales. Sid also oversaw the design and construction coordination of the first new BMW franchise built in the US in 10 years. Following this, they worked as the General Sales Manager at Braman Porsche Palm Beach, where they contributed to annual sales exceeding $500 million. Sid then joined Jim Hudson Lexus as a Sales Manager before moving on to Group 1 Automotive, where they served as both the General Sales Manager and General Manager, overseeing dealership operations and implementing short and long-term goals. Sid later joined Sumitomo Corporation of Americas as a General Manager, responsible for all dealership operations, and eventually transitioned to Asbury Automotive Group as the General Manager, leading the Bentley Atlanta team to achieve top rankings in performance management. Sid currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Development & Real Estate at Asbury Automotive Group and will also take on the role of Chairman at 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. in 2023.

Sid Barron's education history includes attending Cornell University, where they studied Commercial Real Estate and Development. They also attended Emory University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Before that, they attended Oxford College of Emory University, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in English.
