Andy Bui

Andy Bui has worked as a Lead Mechanical Engineer at ASC Pty Ltd since December 2021. Prior to that, they were a Mechanical Engineer at Naval Group Australia from April 2019 to November 2021. At Naval Group Australia, they provided engineering support for the procurement of equipment and managed various mechanical systems. Before that, Andy worked at AGL Energy as a Mechanical Engineer, where they oversaw pump overhaul projects and managed turbine projects. Andy also has experience as an Acoustic Engineer at EMGA Mitchell McLenna, where they conducted noise monitoring and improved noise models. Andy also worked as a Teaching Supervisor and Project Engineer at the University of Adelaide, where they supervised students, tutored programming courses, and designed and upgraded navigation systems for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle platform.

Andy Bui began their education at Unley High School from 2005 to 2007, where they completed their SACE. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Adelaide in 2008 and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, Andy is pursuing a Master of Marine Engineering degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the University of Adelaide, which is expected to be completed in 2025.
