Gary Spurr

Gary Spurr has extensive work experience in various roles related to facilities management, procurement, and purchasing. Gary started their career as an Apprentice Fitter and Turner at Dunlite Electrical in 1978 and worked there until 1983. Gary then joined Arnotts as a Purchasing Manager in 1984, where they stayed until 1992. In 2000, they worked as a Supply Manager at Medvet Laboratories Ltd until 2001. From 2002 to 2004, they served as a Senior Packaging Buyer at Hardy Wine Company. Gary then worked as a Purchasing Manager at Blastmaster from 2004 to 2007. Gary joined Liebherr Australia as a National Purchasing Manager in 2007 and became a Facilities Team Leader from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Nyrstar Port Pirie as a Procurement Specialist for a short period. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Naval Group Australia as a Facilities Manager and later as a Shipyard Integration Manager. Currently, they are a Facilities Project Lead at ASC Pty Ltd since 2022.
