Jack Morelli

Jack Morelli is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in the defense, education, and automotive industries. Jack currently holds the position of Technical Lead - Senior Mechanical Engineer at ASC Pty Ltd. Prior to this, they worked at Naval Group Australia as a Platform Systems Engineer - Design Authority. Jack also gained valuable experience as a Systems Engineer - Test and Evaluation for the Future Submarine Program at Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group. In addition, they provided engineering support and conducted systems engineering for defense contracts at Babcock Australia & New Zealand. Jack has also worked as a Lecturer & Consultant at the University of Adelaide and as a Graduate Engineer at Laing O'Rourke. Before pursuing their engineering career, Jack owned their own business, MorelliTech. Jack gained practical experience as a Quality Engineering Co-op student at GM Holden, focusing on defect elimination in vehicle assembly. Jack Morelli completed their Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Adelaide, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Afterward, in 2020, they pursued a Master of Systems Engineering (Marine Engineering) degree at UNSW Canberra, which they are currently pursuing with no end year specified. In 2022, Jack Morelli also enrolled in the University of Adelaide to obtain a Graduate Diploma of Marine Engineering (Submarine Design), which they completed in 2023. Additionally, Jack Morelli obtained certifications such as the Chartered Professional Engineer and National Engineering Register from Engineers Australia in August 2020.
