Rebecca Yu

Rebecca Yu has extensive experience in people operations and human resources management. Their most recent role was as the Head of People Operations at Ascella Technologies, Inc., where they advised the leadership team and managed a team of three professionals. Prior to that, they served as the Chief People Officer at Virginia International University, where they acted as an advisor to the President and was a member of the executive committee. Rebecca has also held the position of Human Resources Manager at companies such as HCI | integrated solutions, USmax Corporation, and Digital Sandbox, Inc. In these roles, they oversaw the HR function, contributed to strategic decision-making, and improved talent acquisition. Additionally, Rebecca has experience as a high school volleyball coach and in various HR roles at Community Academy Public Charter School and Northwest Federal Credit Union. Overall, Rebecca Yu has a strong background in people operations and HR management, with a focus on advising leadership, managing teams, and implementing effective HR strategies.

Rebecca Yu pursued their undergraduate education from 1998 to 2002 at the University of Virginia. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology & Cognitive Science.
